Welcome to The Saint Bar & Kitchen! Formerly St Andrews institution The West Port, the Saint has recently received an extensive renovation creating cosy, modern lounge areas and a refreshed, extensive garden area so you can enjoy whatever the Scottish weather throws your way.

Please note that our kitchen closes at 9pm so we cannot offer food after this time.

Join us for a tree-mendous morning of festive family fun yule be sorry to miss! Santa will be here spreading Christmas cheer at his "Saintly Grotto", giving the perfect opportunity for a festive photo op. His elf helpers will even be handing out presents to those on the 'nice list.' When: 1st, 8th, 15th, 24th December Time: 10am, 10:30am, 11am What's included...? Children: £12 for a soft drink, breakfast dish, present, and a meet with Santa and his elves! Adults: £15 for a breakfast dish and hot drinks. Please note that we will contact you in advance of your booking to help Santa provide age-appropriate gifts for your little ones!

Booked a table for 11:15am. On entering the bar area we weren’t even acknowledged. Told the bar staff we had booked a table and she said to wait and someone would be with us (whilst pouring the chef of the kitchen a pint of beer)10 mins later someone asked if they could help. Explained we had booked a table and he sat us down with lunch menus only to say they didn’t serve lunch till 12. We all agreed breakfast menu would be fine (at 11:30 when they stop serving breakfast!) Took them ages to take our order of 3 coffees and 1 pint orange cordial, for them to comeback 10 minutes later and say they had no orange cordial or any syrups for the coffees apart from gingerbread. At this point we decided to leave. Service was slow to say the least, looked like no one on front of house actually cared about any customers walking through the door. A real shame as the food looked really good quality.

Excellent service from every member of staff. Caring and very professional, especially as my friend has complex dietary issues. Food was lovely and surroundings attractive and spotless. First time there but we’ll be back! Our only gripe was £11.95 for an extremely meagre cheese board. Rather overpriced!

Drinks- fine. Ordered some food with our tea or coffees. This never appeared.

Food good excellent fish and chips Sone of the menus a bit grubby Need cleaning We were nit informed there was a, Sunday roast available until after we had ordered It was only when we saw it being ssrved to other diners we became aware Overall a nice experience

Lovely dining experience. The food was really nice and portions very generous. Staff were pleasant and attentive. Will be back again.

Another lovely meal with a great atmosphere especially when the pub quiz started. Just felt the service was sluggish. Sat waiting a full ten minutes before we flagged someone down to order drinks. Then they didn’t come with the drinks and had to be chased up. Once we ordered, the starters came and then when they were done we sat for another ten minutes before we were asked if we wanted anything else! Yes please - our main courses! So it just felt that there was a shortage of staff and although it didn’t detract from the overall experience it didn’t live up to usual standards. But food was great!

First time meeting friends and loved it. Met in bar area and enjoyed a very relaxed afternoon with great cocktails, wine and food. Staff very welcoming and friendly and food was tasty and hot. Can’t fault. Will definitely return and probably stay.

Bit brightly lit Service felt as if lip service rather than being interested Hard to get the eye if anyone whe. Needing someone with layout Food was ok. Nothing to rave about. Menu wasn’t as exciting as expected from website.
