This outdoor patio bar and grill is located along the Boise Greenbelt and the Boise River. Open seasonally from mid-May through mid-October. Seating is based on a first come basis, no reservations.

The Sandbar offers locally sourced fresh, grilled cuisine and a full service bar with specialty cocktails and the area’s best selection of draft beer. Enjoy live music on the Sandbar stage every evening and all day Saturday and Sunday.

Food overcooked, tasteless, had to send food back and it took forever to get another meal. I signed up on line for open table and when I arrived was told they don’t use open table, funny, I received a confirmation number. The music was moved from eating area, which was my the reason going there, to another spot on the grounds. Parking was roped off and had to walk a ways to get to the patio.

They don’t take reservations. Even when I showed them my reservation they said they didn’t know where it came from. We waited in the cold for 40 minutes, without any apology just attitude from staff then they sat us next to a busy pool as we froze our arses off because none of their heat lamps worked. At these the food was ok but the rest of the experience was horrible. And again, they don’t honor reservations.

Cecily was incredible and friendly. Great service! She gave us lots of information about the area, food choices, and even discussed our kids. We really appreciated her kindness.

We had very slow poor service. Other tables that sat after us with the same waiter got served before us the whole time we were there. It took 30min to get our drink order and 45min to get our appetizer at which time we asked for extra salsa and by the time they brought it we no longer needed it. We stated this and were still charged. We got our food and our waiter tried to walk away without asking if e needed anything as we started to tell him what we needed he kept trying to walk away despite everyone not having their requests in. Once we got our food we never saw our waiter again until I flagged him down as we were out of drinks. Easily the worst service I’ve had at sandbar and we go there about 2-4 times a month. Really disappointed.

Very nice outdoor venue, good music and food, recommend Nacho's with pork. Good drinks. Hit happy hour. Busy but worth a wait

Service and food were great, excellent view of the Boise River and green belt. If weekend (Friday-Sunday)plans, make sure to get a reservation!

I love the sandbar! The servers are always nice, Andrea, David, and Landon are always amazing and happy to see you! It really makes you feel like home :)

Cramped seating, ran out of food, beer, appetizer overpriced for portion, music too loud. This was a special labor day event. Been there other times and had no issues.

Food was excellent. Masters were dripping water on us. Construction by the pool made it very noisy.
