The food was excellent as always and the staff is so very accommodating and polite that they really make you feel like part of their family. I absolutely love this place.

Lizzie was awesome who provided service to our table and Jamie, the owner was very personable and we would definitely come here again. Food was delicious and made to order-not frozen and prepared ahead of time.

Overall, a very nice experience. Perhaps a few things could have been more refined in food and service. The pimento cheese app was very good. A little surprised it wasn’t hot / baked. Cocktails were balanced and well done. Enjoyed the coffee & cigarettes in particular. Crab Cakes were OK. Perhaps a little overworked / tight and flat. Other entrees were good. Service was generally good. Perhaps could have been a little more proactive and refined.

Loved the food and service was great. My one piece of feedback is if someone makes a reservation, be thoughtful about where you seat them. We were at a tiny two top right on top of a table for 6 that was sat and we felt on top of them. The restaurant was not full and we could have been at one of many other tables. It did impact our experience.

Love The Savory Grain and took my parents there for a nice brunch, a great atmosphere, awesome service, and wonderful jazz. The Savory Grain is where we take any and all friends to when they come to visit us in Richmond. Everything truly was great and so happy to see my parents enjoy it as well, the food, and the music. You cannot go wrong choosing The Savory Grain to enjoy your evening or Sunday morning.

Food, especially the Brussel Sprout, Mashed Potato and Broccoli sides were great! Would return for them alone, though Blackened Salmon was quite good, as well.

Usually a great place to eat when we go there. Not so this time. Although our waitress was sweet, she was not attentive and seemed inexperienced. Never came back to specifically ask us how things were so we had to keep catching her when we could. She and the kitchen messed up items on our food order so we had to send back or substitute a few times. Would go back but would request a different server and ask not to be seated near large, loud tables.
