Saybrook Fish House is the spot to go to in the area when craving seafood and great wine. The venue uses quality ingredients that really make their dishes standout. The seafood used comes from the New England coast. Saybrook Fish House is open for business seven days a week. It's a great eatery for celebrations and for fun date nights.From the raw bar, diners can dig into jumbo shrimp cocktail and oysters on the half shell. For appetizers, the restaurant offers everything from fried mozzarella and mussels in white wine, to baked mushrooms and crab cakes. Clam lovers must try the fried whole belly clam entrée, which is fried to perfection. Another seafood favorite is the king crab legs served with decadent drawn butter.

For years we have been dining at Saybrook Fish House in Rocky Hill. One of our Favorite restaurants because of the consistent delicious food, great service and very friendly staff…

Everything was wonderful...soup to dessert...our server Vonnie could not have been more personable....she was wonderful...the only thing was..I had two bites of a delicious coconut cream pie...and either they forgot to wrap it..or I forgot the leftover....I was sooo disappointed....

I just wanted to complicate host. We accidentally reserved a table for 4 instead of 6 and the host resolved it… he is a class act

We were seated for our reservation at 6;30 within 5 minutes of arriving. It took about the same for our waitress to come over and take our drink order. It would be a while before she returns with our drinks. Like a while. When she does we are ready to order apps and mains having already eaten most of the bread basket and not sure of how the timing of the apps and dinner would be. We order: Apps/starters 1. Lobster crab cakes 2. Fried calamari 3. Bowl of the special soup tonight snow crab bisque. Mains: 1 seafood special: stuffed shrimp, broil stuffed sole with crabmeat filling and scallops. 2. Deep fried sea scallops dinner 3. Shrimp scampi and sea scallops. Apps came out a while later, our waitress was somewhere so a kitchen runner brought our apps. She left before we could ask about the bisque which would come later after we finished the apps and family style salad. The snow crab bisque was amazing! Chunks of snow crab and such a flavorful bisque base. The seafood special platter was amazing. The scallops were cooked perfectly, the stuffed sole was a huge piece and overflowing with the crabmeat stuffing. The stuffed shrimp were medium to large shrimp butterflied and stuffed with their crabmeat stuffing then broiled. It was a pain to separate the meat from shell. The shrimp scampi and scallops over linguine was chock full of shrimp and scallops! The light wine sauce and herbs complimented the scallops so well. For 3 mains with 1 side each, two apps, salad, one bowl of bisque, a soda and iced tea and one sangria came out to 197$ with tip. The dinners were amazing! I feel you get your moneys worth here. The service could have been way faster/ attentive, we spent two hours here and I think that was just a lot of time to be sitting/ waiting between drinks and apps and dinner. Highly recommend.

The best seafood for your buck in ct hands down been coming here for 7 years now and they never disappoint.. 10/10 every time

Another wonderful dinner with great wine and great service. Our server, Shawn, was absolutely amazing as usual! The quality of the chef’s cooking and preparation was outstanding, and they will always customize for you. great place for seafood!
