I don’t like to leave bad feedback but our experience of the Schoolhouse was poor! Yes, it was a Rugby match day but please don’t disrespect your customers by charging 23.95 for a roasted hake meal that wouldn’t feed a child. I was looking forward to a “GastroPub” experience but left feeling short changed. This was my first time visiting the Schoolhouse and yes, while disappointed I will be fair and give it another go in the future. To the management of The Schoolhouse, please don’t ignore my feedback as I am only giving constructive feedback as requested.

First time here and pleasantly surprised. Our waiter Pablo was particularly helpful and professional. Food is excellent and prices reasonable. Restaurant and bathrooms clean.

Spent a wonderful Saturday evening at the Schoolhouse with my wife and 2 young daughters. The food, ambiance and overall service from the staff were all outstanding. A special mention to Germano for really going the extra mile to look after my family. It was greatly appreciated, and we will definitely be back soon as the food was also outstanding.

Sat beside gas fire in nice setting. Good service. The only negative was both our rib eyes had excessive fat to the point difficult to eat and was no other steak option on menu. Overall a really nice experience and will return.
