Netarts Bay and our surrounding community provide us with the very best the pacific has to offer. The fields and hills do the rest. Our local partner list is over twenty strong and growing. We take pride in supporting local farmers, fishermen and foragers. When you come to The Schooner we will do our best to provide you with a memorable experience. The service and courtesy were very good. However, the noise level from the kitchen was very loud, with them banging pots and pans. I, also feel the prices are a little high. The food I had was excellent, but $27 is a little costly for mac and cheese with crab. But I would recommend it for special occasions, not everyday type.

The Schooner is a most excellent restaurant in Netarts which is about 8 miles from Tillamook, and this place has offerings on the menu which are unusual and satisfying; clams with chorizo, crab and cheese dip with not only bread, but fruit as well, broiled oysters with a wonderful sauce, and an excellent choice of wines. Will I be back? Absolutely, and will bring friends there again and again.

James our waiter was absolutely phenomenal. The most attentive service I have received in a long time. The restaurant was super busy. We sat outside with the fireplace and heater on. The food we had was amazing. Definitely recommend this restaurant. Again best waiter!!!

Forgot about this until it popped up a year later!?! Food was sitting in a puddle of grease. Loud, definitely not what we were expecting. The vibe was more like a busy pizza place. Probably very different since COVID?

Great food, go again for sure, that crab dip with crudites and toasty bread was excellent, the clams with chorizo sublime, and the oysters broiled were some of the best I’ve had!

We had the clam fettuccini and the Dungeness crab mac and cheese. Truly the best of each we have EVER had. The use of herbs in the fettuccini was amazing. I only wish I had the recipes!! The only oven they have is this cool wood burning pizza type in the wall by where we sat. That makes every dish that much more special. Keep the fans on for air circulation though 👍

Waited over an hour for our dinner, and got the wrong food. Disappointing and not worth the money. Food was just okay.

A lovely location. We enjoyed our fresh fish and chips and the big local salad topped with fried oysters! This place is a gem. Worth the detour on our drive along the coast. Supporting restaurants that source from local farmers, fishermen, and businesses is something we seek out.
