We booked a table as it was close to where my sister was staying at the nearby campsite. The pub its self was very welcoming and friendly. However we found the whole room was very cold. Therefore when we got our lunch it turned cold very quickly. I felt the waitresses could have been a little smarter. There was one with a baggy shirt and very short shorts. My husband had nachos from the Sunday menu which was advertised as having chilli beef although when I mentioned this on the way home he said there was no chilli beef on the nachos at all. I wouldn’t say I would rush back for another visit until they close the doors and put the heating on, Churros was lovely and it’s fab that dogs are allowed.

I've never been here before. The price of food was above average but it was well worth it. Would definitely be going again. Spaciously, friendly staff with great service.

Nice meal, great waitress Shania. Very friendly, polite and helpful. Food was good was all had a variation of pasta and all enjoyed it. Shania was helpful with any questions we had.

The food was luke warm at best, and served on cold plates. For my personal taste, the veg was over cooked and when I cook red cabbage it does not and should not look like a greylsh mess . Portions were generous

Very hit and miss. Some items really nice, others not so great but have had worse. Plenty of fresh veg with the roast and the Yorkshire pudding was lovely. My roast potatoes were actually black! Staff very polite but it was almost empty.

Very nice restaurant with atttentive staff. The Sunday dinner was well presented and tasty but the loaded nachos were very unappetising. The sauces were fine but for some reason the nachos were cooked. Never had them like that before and they looked odd and there chewy and generally unpleasant. I saw nachos as starters being served to others and they were fresh and uncooked so not sure why they were different as a main course.

Small portions. Didn’t get offered any Parmesan cheese with meatballs. Lack of flavour in meatball sauce. Meatballs were only warm, not hot. Linguine was hot and flavoursome but very basic. Staff were very friendly and helpful getting my 90 year old mother through the doors and into her seat.
