We are a 21+ restaurant and bar. Founded in 2018 by Joel and Matthew and purchased in late 2022 by Becky and Jon, the vision remains the same: Old English pub vibes, high quality food.

We loved The Shambles from the minute we walked in and now we continue the heritage of what was created before us. On the food side: high quality steaks, cut in house. Cooks who have the freedom to create seasonal dishes ranging from foraged mushrooms to house made sausages. To go with your meal, we offer skillfully made, non-fussy cocktails, carefully selected wines, a plethora of beers, sours, and ciders on tap and a a robust non alcoholic selection. We top it all off with warm and knowledgeable service. At the Shambles, you can join us for a lovely date night, get together with friends OR choose to sit at the bar and get an ear full of cheesy jokes and unfiltered chatter We are serious about our service from top to bottom and we can’t wait to serve you!

Everything the four of us ordered was beautiful and delicious! I had steak tartare, which is hard to find in this town, and was the perfect combination of egg, arugula pesto, and mustard, served with lovely, toasted baguette slices. My partner had miso cod with asparagus -- my, oh my! He let me have a bite, and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Don't get me started on the desserts. We shared bread pudding and cheesecake -- both lovely. The bartender made me a lovely Perfect Manhattan. Only disappointment was that there weren't as many beers on tap as usual, but what they had was satisfying. Love this place and the wonderful staff!

First time here so they walked us through how to choose a steak. They are set up well for sharing so you can choose a few different types of steak for the table and they’ll come sliced into shareable pieces. Everything was delicious including salads, sides and bread pudding for dessert. Steak was tender and well seasoned. I definitely recommend it.

The best steak I’ve ever had. This place is our new go to special occasion spot. From the pickle plate, to the steak and mashed potatoes to the bread pudding it’s honestly amazing!!!

Excellent everything! Service, ambiance, sides and the star of the show - amazing beef!!!! A real ‘local Joint’ that’s a bit away from downtown Seattle, but worth the UBER ride! Will definitely be back!

We live in the neighborhood and love Shambles. The food and cocktails are great and the ambiance is vibrant and cozy. We've always liked it since they first opened but I do think there have been a few changes for the better since new ownership took over...mainly a more diverse menu and just a few touches to the space that have elevated the space a bit. Definitely recommend it!

I'm never disappointed when I come to The Shambles. Their service is absolutely impeccable. The sides and starters are divine. And the meat. The meat is the best I've had in a restaurant. If you're thinking of going, do yourself a favor and check it out.

Great service and cozy ambience! Food is always terrific. The burger is so delicious and the Caesar salad is big enough to share for two. Highly recommend!

Food is always really good here, the service is hit or miss, last time I ate there the waitress said “no rush” when she dropped off our checks, but as soon as they were paid she came back and said “no rush, but we have a really long wait right now” when we were visiting with friends from out of town. It was really awkward and off putting.
