Situated in the idyllic village of Shilton, in the heart of the Cotswolds, The Rose & Crown is the
'perfect English country pub', serving exceptional food in our bar and dining room and a beautiful sunny beer garden. Join for snacks Tuesday – Saturday, with the full food menu available at lunch and dinner Wednesday – Sunday, including roasts with all the trimmings on Sunday afternoons.

A friendly welcome from the owner Matt. Log fires burning on a cold day making it cosy. Food was excellent and unexpected with scallop sashimi and wagyu steak. The pub is popular with locals having a drink and regular diners from further afield. Will definitely return

Charming traditional pub with a proper bar and tables, and a cosy wood-burning stove. High quality ingredients well made into tasty dishes. Tempura prawns were fresh, firm and juicy, and clearly made from scratch in the kitchen. Lamb shank roast with all the trimmings was a great Sunday treat.

We had spent the morning at the Cotswold Wildlife Park and decided to visit for lunch. Amazing food and atmosphere, a little expensive for a family lunch, but a great place to visit and worth it for the quality of the food and great service . Thank you

The service is always so attentive, the staff are very warm and welcoming. We had a lovely fire-side dinner, and they were very accommodating to us and our rather quiet puppy. The food is great, with some top-notch options on the menu. We had the steak between the two of us, and would definitely be returning after such a wonderful experience. A must-visit if you're staying nearby or in the Cotswolds.
