Arrived on time very busy had to find member of staff to get to our table not greeted or welcomed Drinks arrived promptly one starter arrived promptly Then 45 minute wait and had to find staff member to enquire where out mains were Informed that our meal was next to be cooked!! Two of the three mains arrived five minutes later and then had to wait a further 5 minutes for the final main to arrive Informed that they were busy which is understandable but no apology just very disjointed service with no concern to the issue.

Lovely meal at The Ship it was the best chicken burger I have ever had and my husbands fish pie was also amazing he said. Definitely be going back, highly recommend

We arrived for curry night. I have not had a better pub curry. Excellent samosa and pakoras and both meat and vegan mains were very flavoursome. Service was excellent.

Presentation was perfect, The roast was by far the best we have had - gravy was so tasty and all the veg cooked to the right texture - overall couldnt have been any better - Everything was perfect and worth the visit, will be booking again soon :-)

Lovely lunch to celebrate my Dad’s 91st birthday. Staff (in particular Harry) were very helpful and attentive. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Overall a great experience

Love the Thursday special menus that change weekly. Great value for money and a great way to try new foods. The atmosphere is really reminiscent of a good old fashioned pub, friendly and inclusive.
