   This is the fourth visit and not the best. I forgot again to inquire about the pasta that comes with the Chicken Parmesan. I got the vodka sauce again, not my favorite but certainly acceptable. The first time there, the best, they gave me a different version that I liked much better. I’m sure they’d accommodate my choice. My wife had a version of their specialty, the Tomasa meatballs and although good as far as meatballs go, their Chicken Parmesan is exceptional and what I like best. We’ll be back again, it is that good, albeit expensive.

   The service wasn’t great. The waiter did not check in on us nearly frequently enough. We were ready to order and just sat there for a long time before he finally came back. The pasta was good, but the Bolognese was like a paste. It just wasn’t good. The wedge salad they took the time to split between my wife and I, which was nice And the flavor of that was good. The wine we had was also good. All in though, I wouldn’t go back. There are plenty of other places that you can go for a good Italian.

   When I order a $38 steak I expect it to be cooked correctly. I got to watch my wife eat her meal o. Her Birthday all alone because instead of Medium Rare they cooked it almost well done. If you don’t want meatballs or pasta don’t bother going here.

   The food was great, so we’ll be back, but the service was not great. We ordered an app that never came out, even after we gave the go ahead to bring it out after our entrees came out. That said, they sent out a dessert to make it right. Could have just been a bad night for our server. We will give it another shot.

   As always the food was delicious and we also took home some pastries. The service was attentive but our server wasn’t comfortable opening our wine bottle. She sent another gal who broke the cork and then a 3rd server came with a new bottle and he was successful! This last server did check on us after our food came out and we had a laugh or 2 at his mispronunciation of Ricotta. Italians know how their food is pronounced so that won’t fly and we like to drink wine. PS Chef Joey’s Pinot was heavenly.

   We loved it! Unique menu and cocktail menu. Beautiful decor and excellent service. We will be back.

   The food was excellent, but it was the service that was outstanding. The staff were very attentive and accommodating. Simply a very enjoyable experience for a dinner with friends.

   We’ve been to the Sicilian Butcher several times now. It’s consistently great and we enjoy the food, service and atmosphere. The octopus and calamari app is delicious. This time I had the NY strip and it was good, but not great. Too much breading vs chimichurri. Might be a late evening issue so we will try again.
