Great friendly service from our server- Jose. The appetizers, drinks, and entrees came out when expected and right temperature. Excellent taste- everyone loved their dish!

The service was unbelievably slow even though it wasn’t crowded. We had the bread board which was cold and terrible. It was supposed to come out ahead of time and didn’t, so maybe it sat too long. Would never get any of them again. We also had the wheel of meatballs. Again mostly cold so we did not enjoy and wouldn’t get again. Wishing we had tried pasta, but won’t go back to try again.

When I made the reservation, I had indicated that it was my fiancée's birthday. I'm not sure about the restaurant's policy or procedures as we've never been to Sicilian Butcher to celebrate a special event (just for normal dining), however there was no mention by anyone about it. It was troubling because the table next to us had a birthday that was acknowledged by at least the server (who was our server as well). That was somewhat disconcerting and lessened my experience.

Very dissatisfying 40th anniversary dinner. We were seated at a table that was located on the side walk directly in the path of servers serving food and clearing tables, and also people standing near the outside bar waiting to be seated. We were bumped several times. Food and service were good, but we can’t get past the table setting. Felt we were profiled by the hostess and seated at the worst table.

Food is just OK. Not rich in flavor, we tried the Chef’s special sauce and tomatoes were acid. Different type of meatballs pretty much they taste the same. Hostess kept us await 20 mins even when some tables were open and we did have a reservation.

On Valentine’s Day, I decided to give their five-course meal a try. The initial courses were quite impressive. The shrimp cocktail and zucchini were both delicious. However, the vodka pasta was a major letdown. The sauce was fantastic, but it was severely undercooked. The short rib was good, but it could have been more tender. On a positive note, the dessert was upgraded to a cannoli, which I absolutely loved. The bakery itself looked quite intriguing, with its charming ambiance.

We had dined here several times in the past and had good experiences. This was Valentines Day. Of course, the place was packed and noisy. Service was great, drinks were great. But I think the kitchen was stressed with the demand of the holiday. The entrees left something to be desired. I ordered a seafood pasta dish that was to include clams, shrimp and calamari. There were no shrimp but some kind of chopped up fish instead.
