Farm to table food & drink on the majestic grounds of The Horse Shoe Farm! We believe in communal dining and intentional hospitality. Open 7 days a week! Breakfast 8-10a | Lunch 12-3pm | Dinner 5-8:30pm.

The Silo Bar is open Sunday to Wednesday from 12-9pm and Thursday to Saturday from 12-10pm. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy a beverage, game room, bonfire and sweeping Mt. Pisgah views! Please make your reservation time at the time you would like to be seated for dinner. **GF/V/Kids Menu Options available upon request.

It was a quiet cold Monday and I’m so happy we got dressed and made it over to the Silo. Excellent from beginning to end of meal. Loved the chicken, prepared so beautifully. All the veggies were well prepared and healthy and fresh. Dessert was so perfect, a pavlova!

My dinner at The Silo was truly unforgettable. I opted for the Chef's tasting menu, and every dish stood out. The scallops were cooked to perfection and paired beautifully with a rich, flavorful curried squash sauce. The Wagyu, accompanied by a homemade ponzu, was a melt-in-your-mouth experience, and the Ottolenghi-inspired charred carrots were a standout side. The Agnolotti pasta was another highlight, with a sauce so smooth and delicate, it practically melted on my tongue. Chef Daniel personally checks on each table, ensuring that everyone is delighted with their meal. The ambiance is exceptional, offering a warm, welcoming atmosphere that captures the essence of enjoying food with both friends and strangers at the communal tables. After the meal, I grabbed a drink at the bar and headed to the top of the Silo, where we enjoyed laughter, stargazing, and even left a message on the walls. This restaurant is definitely a gem, and I can't wait to return—it's a true highlight of my dining experiences!

It was just ok. Starting with our reservation which we were informed that earliest we could get a table was eight. The restraunt was more than half empty when we arrived and they had plenty of staff so I'm not sure why we weren't allowed to come a little earlier. I assumed that with the fairly limited menu, that the food would be great, but my entre of Braciole was tough and chewy with no real discerning flavor. My wife's chicken was prepared better, but was not anything special. Service and drinks were very good and the only real highlight was the dessert. I really wanted it to be better and maybe we caught them on a bad night so maybe it will be better if we go again.

Second time to The Silo, and it was great again. Tried the pri fix menu and thoroughly enjoyed it and the wine pairings.

Well, I should have known better going out on Valentines, but we did it anyway. Our first experience at the Silo Cookhouse was a disappointment. We had the prix fixe menu with the additional wine pairings. Unfortunately the meal was not up to our expectations but should have realized that to give a restaurant a fair shake, you shouldn't go with high expectations, particularly on a holiday. My husband and I chose each of the options so we could compare our choices. Each of the four courses had major blunders from being undercooked to over seasoned, to over cooked and lacking of cohesive flavors. The staff seemed to have too many customers to offer premiere service. Having paid in excess of $500 for the meal for two people we would have hoped for better. The tip was added prior to us receiving the bill which was a bit offensive. on a positive note, the wagyu beef tataki was delicious.

Dan and team were amazing as always... feels like coming home. From the minute you walked in you felt welcomed, food was amazing - love the seasonal components and the focus on local produce & meats! Our server, the devine Miss M, was exceptional as always...

We love the ambience of Silo, our drinks were great, the chicken entree was fabulous! BUT my mum had the Braciole which was very undercooked and chewy and our waiter started out fabulous but avoided us for the reminder of the evening………..

Though we’ve eaten at the Silo several times before, tonight it impressed yet again. The food is always creative and thoughtful. There is always an ingredient or dish or combination that we have never had before. Tonight did not disappoint. Thank you Silo team for an amazing dinner!
