Great restaurant! Was there to celebrate my birthday, and they were so sweet and made it very special. Had a friend who has a severe allergy, and they were very very VERY accommodating and took extra precautions to make sure she felt safe eating everything. Food is top notch - absolutely can't go wrong

One of my fav places for good drinks, oysters and sticky toffee pudding!! They never miss!

The apple tart dessert was terrible. Whoever thought of putting cream cheese icing on an apple pie! Ruined it. Otherwise good was very good, the server was 5 star all the way.

Normally, I love the Smith. It was St. Patrick’s Day, really fun. Because the day was nice, they had it opened all the doors so it was open air. Normally I’d love this but by the time we arrived, it was in the high 50s and the restaurant was freezing inside. My friend and I asked if they could close the doors and we said we didn’t bring coats. They said come on at Chicago - You should always bring a coat. - but I didn’t know I needed it for my indoor dinner reservation! It was quite busy and I don’t feel like they had their normal good service. Won’t keep me from going back cause I love the restaurant, but tonight was not their best.

It was St Patrick’s Saturday and thus the area was overrun with green-clad revelers, and the restaurant was super busy. We happened to arrive early for our reservation but they took us right in. Service was prompt, food came out quickly and was delicious. This is a favorite place of ours, and even when they were super busy, they delivered as expected.

We enjoyed our brunch at The Smith very much. The food was delicious and staff was attentive.

We love dining at The Smith when we visit Chicago! They make us feel so welcomed and the service is always top notch. We've had five-star experiences with Nick, Coco, and Lindsey. Even the gentlemen who bus the tables are swift and thorough! The Smith really has it all - I've never had a bad dish there. Love the brick chicken, shishitos, and truffle arancini balls! Love their on tap old fashioned - the flavors are spot on. Bring back those pool party cocktails for summertime and we are golden! Thank you to the rockstar staff at The Smith for making us feel at home!

Wilson was AMAZING. He made our dining experience incredible and had amazing banter with our bunch! We were there celebrating a special occasion, and he went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. I had family visiting from out of town, and they were asking me if “everyone in Chicago were like this????” Because Wilson was SO sweet and made it such a special night. Thank you to everyone who is also apart of the management team at The Smith as well- you all are amazing :)

Excellent service. Food was good. My husband ordered eggs w/ filet. The filet was very good and cooked perfect. Oysters was excellent. The Bloody Mary mix was excellent.
