In town visiting for the weekend. We had dinner on a Saturday night while busy it was a great experience. The food was outstanding, the drinks were great and the ambiance is amazing. Definitely recommend for dinner and drinks.

Love The Smith. First time for breakfast though. Great food and service at a very reasonable price for breakfast in downtown DC. Sat in the back, nice room with private bar for small parties- will definitely consider that for work events in future. Not many options in DC for weekend breakfast but thos place is good! Put on your list!

The service was the highlight of my night at the smith, although a bit loud everything else was fantastic.

Had a great time at The Smith last night. Truffle arancini, burrata, and shrimp scampi were all very well balanced and service was wonderful. Thank you!

Good service makes a big difference in an evening. Three friends met at The Smith to catch up. The friendly host greeted us and changed our table - at our request because we didn't want to sit near the noisy bar. Our server, Jaiho M, made our evening great. She was friendly, knowledgable and efficient. We shared a bottle of wine and brussels sprouts. We ate mussels and bibimbap as entrees. The food is good, about what you'd expect from The Smith. (It's not "fine dining.") A manager checked on us a couple of times to ask if we were doing ok. That's a nice touch. We were! I recommend The Smith for a casual meal in a friendly atmosphere.

Create location for a decent sized group lunch. Food arrived quickly once we ordered, drinks for delicious. Everything was well priced.

We dined at The Smith in DC twice for dinner and enjoyed it so much that we returned for lunch the next day! The food was delicious and fresh, with a menu that perfectly suits an American-style restaurant. The staff was very accommodating, and the pricing was moderately valued. We were very satisfied with every visit. Staying at the hotel across the street made it even more convenient. I only wish I had taken food photos to capture how great everything looked! We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in DC from Miami!

Cool place! Very good service - we were in for brunch prior to a Caps game - lots of fellow fans there! Food was good - especially the Blue Cheese Fondue Chips :-)...nice to have bread delivered, the Goat Cheese egg omelette a little overcooked and the bacon nothing special. Nice that they include complimentary cocktails within a section of the menu and the Bloody Mary's were great! Overall, a cool vibe and easy walking distance to Capitol One Arena!
