Reservations are for food bookings only – all drinks are first come, first served.

Not trying too hard, not overly complicated, and EXACTLY what you are looking for; our menu is the fox's knees. We have got a great selection of Scottish beers on tap, and have recently created an extensive cocktail menu for you to sip on while you catch up with friends. From the kitchen, you can expect feel good pub dishes with a twist made from fresh, seasonal ingredients – we think yer granny would even approve!

Foxes might not be great at sports (it’s hard when you can’t even wear shoes) but that doesn’t stop us from watching all the big games! We have all Sky Sports & BT channels so can show everything from the Scottish Premiership & International Football to the Grand National and Wimbledon. Swing by, pull up a pew and catch all of the action.

This was our 2nd visit to the Smokin' Fox & we were not disappointed. We had booked in especially for the chicken wings which are outstanding. Great range of beers ect to pair up with the wings. Staff on both visits have been very friendly with a good sense of humour and the service is quick.

Was clearly a very busy night. Crowded inside, but they still managed to maintain such a great ambiance. We were greeted by very friendly and courteous staff and promptly seated. Our orders were brought out fairly quickly and the food was delicious! Enjoyed my time. Will definitely visit again

Did not disappoint. On a Saturday night ever member of staff who dealt with us was professional and friendly. Our server in the restaurant area was especially good, the right balance between friendliness and efficiency when she was obviously very busy.. The food was delicious , tasty and well presented. There was a vibrant atmosphere and yet it still felt welcoming. I really cant, fault the place and would thoroughly recommend it.

Booked a table at three o'clock on Saturday 1/02/25. Bar & restaurant exceptionally busy . Staff were well organised & took no time to have us seated at our table. Food was excellent ,staff brilliant & very quick service. A very enjoyable experience.

Great pub for atmosphere, they had a piper in for Scottish Rugby. Everyone enjoyed their food, staff were all lovely & helpful

Great bar food, busy pub, noisy but that suited us fine, wouldn’t go for a quiet romantic meal.
