Everything from the food, to the drinks, to the environment was wonderful. Had such a wonderful time and will be back.

I have been to the Soca on Holland before which I thoroughly enjoyed but first time to the one on Beechwood. It has been years so perhaps not same owners. I found the dinner menu limited. We had the shrimp paella to share as this is the only way the paella comes is to share. It was disappointing to see some of the shrimp come fully dressed to peel. It was a hard task. Had I known I would not have ordered it. Given how paella is the specialty of the house, it did not blow me away. It was meh. I had the garlic baguette for appetizer and it was delicious. The sangria had more ice than liquid. I cannot say I will rush to go back. There are too many other great restaurants now in the region to get more value for my money.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re happy to hear you enjoyed the baguette, though I’m sorry to learn just now that the paella and sangria did not meet your expectations. To clarify, our paella is served with three jumbo prawns shell-on and many more shrimp with the shells removed, balancing traditional preparation with flavour. We now understand that peeling the prawns was a hard task for you, and I appreciate your sharing your thoughts. As for the sangria, it’s prepared and served over ice with fresh fruit, to enhance the flavour. We strive to present it as a refreshing beverage. If you did not enjoy the ice in yours, we could have served it without. Thank you again for your feedback and we hope you enjoy other dining experiences in the city. Happy Holidays!

I was disappointed with my recent experience. I have no issue with a higher price point if the food matches it but in this case it didn’t. My meal was average at best. I was also unimpressed with the service. It’s the second time I’ve had this particular staff member. He really needs to work on his customer service and people skills. Again, with so many other restaurants to choose from, customer service is incredibly important. And I’ve had great service at many. Unfortunately I won’t be back.

What a fantastic restaurant! We were for brunch Sunday and our diverse party of 4 loved it. Food was delicious, well prepared, fresh and tasty! Service was friendly, considerate and efficient. Our 86 year old grandfather was made comfortable and service was thoughtful for his mobile limitations. We will be back!

We tried the sunday night buffet while the food was good the variety was limited there was only one main course, no desert and only one type of salad....the buffet is not recommended for the value.

Thank you for your feedback on our Sunday night Spanish-inspired buffet! Our main courses included two different types of paella, bringing a traditional taste of Spain to your table. Alongside the paellas, we offered a selection of Spanish charcuterie and cheese, olives, tortilla española, four different varieties of croquettes and a refreshing salad option, all of this is available for $38 per person for this special Tapas & Paella Event. We hope this explanation highlights the variety in our offerings.
