Located in the leafy area of Bowdon, The Stamford is a modern interpretation of pubs from a bygone era; a social space enjoyed by the local community and visitors alike, serving the wider Altrincham, Hale and Cheshire area.

We offer a fresh food a la carte menu alongside lunch specials throughout the pub and a crowd-pleasing set price menu on a Sunday, including our famous mixed meat roasts. Food excellent as always but there is little point in leaving feedback as this is never passed onto the staff. Grace is a wonderful addition to this pub, and always offers service with a smile. Always. Thanks, Grace.

We had a lovely waitress who was really friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. It was very busy but this didn’t affect the service.

We had a lovely experience. Food was delicious, and your servers helped with our food selection. Very Christmassy and attractive building. And our dog was very well looked after.

Always a pleasure to dine at this old favourite. We took a wreath making class today beforehand and the pub is so Christmassy. Staff awesome. Food great and good value. Loved it x
