Located in the backstreets of Fitzroy, Melbourne. The Standard Hotel brings you the best pub food, wines & cold beers that Fitzroy has to offer.

Reservations:

-The maximum booking size is 20 people. If you would like a larger booking, please give us a call or e-mail to discuss. (03) 9419 4793 or bookings@thestandardhotel.com.au

-If you wish to make a booking on the same day, please give us a call and we will see if we can fit you in. We don’t accept same-day online bookings.

-Please note, we don’t take bookings outside after 5 pm Monday-Friday and after 3 pm Saturday, Sunday.

-We will not accommodate Bucks/Hens parties or Pub Crawls.

Very enjoyable lunch at the Standard. They have a good range of beer and the wine list has quite a wide variety. Likewise the menu was varied with some interesting selections on the 'specials' board. Overall a very good lunch.

Easy to book our table only the day before and no deposit required. Dining room is really nice, traditional decor, menu is excellent, food quality and portions are also excellent! The only area for improvement is to improve the acoustic dampening in the dining room as we booked there for a group catch up and it was really difficult to talk and hear each other. The Standard is an iconic Fitzroy pub in the back streets, great spot and awesome garden bar. Good beer tap selection too!

Met up with friends for dinner, we’d never been there before and were blown away by the experience. The food was exceptional and the atmosphere was amazing. For a week night it was very busy and clearly very popular. Loved it!!

This pub has great outdoor areas (book first) that are ideal for a warm weekend lunchtime. A large range of food and drinks and pretty fast attentive service. Always a good experience.
