We had a lovely evening meal here, with great and welcoming staff and good service. We really enjoyed the varied menu and the ambiance here. We will be back.

We enjoyed our lunch at the Star. I am vegetarian so I particularly appreciated having a very good vegetarian dish. The service was excellent and the staff were very tolerant of my learning disabled sister and her habit of doing a jigsaw while waiting for food! We felt very comfortable.

Excellent 3 course meal. All dishes well presented. Good choice on the menu. Very good service.

2 of our group had steaks & they were extremely poor. In fairness, the staff took all our points on board but we were very disappointed in the good overall.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Setting very nice and calm atmosphere. Service very good, food amazing including extra roast potatoes, carrots and cauliflower cheese as part of unlimited Sunday roast. We will definitely return and recommend.

Fabulous food. The Sunday roasts were plentiful and very well cooked. Good choice of fish options too if you didn’t fancy the roast. Service was very good. Couldn’t fault it.
