Such a great vibe! The lighting and structure gave great ambiance and the service was great. My gluten free pizza was delicious and my husband’s Detroit style was crazy good (so he tells me). So glad I found this on Yelp to visit!

This was our first time at The Star Portland. We were very pleased with the friendly staff and service. Some in our group have dietary restrictions (GF, DF, food sensitivity) and the menu had options available for each of us. We will definitely return to The Star Portland.

Excellent food as always! We started with a large Caesar salad and an order of the Cheesy Garlic Dippers - do not sleep on those dippers! They are always absolutely amazing! Then we had a large Old School, Detroit Style. It was great, though I prefer the Deep Dish crust, we wanted to try something different. All delicious, and the service was impeccable!

What a great experience. I came with my family and we had the best time. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was amazing. The service was superb.

Missed both good NY pizza and Chicago deep dish pizza since moving to the NW. The deep dish pizza here is great, as was the service. Will have to try their thin crust pizza sometime. Their Detroit pizza was very good.

Excellent apps, pizza and beverages! Staff also super friendly and accommodating. Will come and again and refer friends.

Service very slow. Didn’t seem to have enough help. Services were rushing from table to table. Bet it’s worse in the kitchen. At least 40 minutes to get our food and then the pizza was mediocre at best. Won’t go there again!

The most amazing pizza and salads I’ve ever had!! The Star is the best! We dine there frequently and have never had anything but the most wonderful and delicious pizzas!!! We love love the deep dish pizzas as well as the salads which are always fresh, fabulous and Huge!!! We always look forward to going back!!
