Arizona's Original Steakhouse.

Step through the copper entry doors and feel the warm authentic atmosphere of this classic American Steakhouse. Once adjacent to the largest feedlot in the world, the restaurant is a living history museum that documents Arizona's cattle industry with historical photos and a Western Art collection. Established in 1947, The Stockyards has been serving the best hand-cut aged steaks and prime rib for 70 years. The menu also features wild game, seafood, poultry, pork, and a wide variety of appetizers, salads and desserts. Be sure to visit the 1889 Saloon where you will find a solid mahogany hand carved bar, crystal chandeliers, and walls adorned with original murals that were painted in the 50's. Step back in time and relax while you enjoy an Arizona landmark. Banquet space and private dining rooms are available, and The Stockyards is always an excellent choice for groups.

Food and service was wonderful. With such a bigger facilities, the background noise was pretty loud. I didn’t think that this steakhouse would be a family restaurant (mostly because of the prices & quality of foods), but it was. Small children added to the noise :( We will be back because of the quality of beef.

Pork chop totally overcooked but chutney good. Scalloped potatoes good. My ribeye steak wasn't that tender. But Kathy gave us superb service and we thank her for that.

First time at Stockyards for 25th anniversary. Ordered Chateaubriand for two to the tune of $130. We’re willing to splurge for this auspicious occasion but apparently that particular cut of meat is $100/lb. Was served 4 pieces of meat, in total- each slightly larger than a deck of cards. They were cooked perfectly and were delicious, however the included sides were OK, serving sized for maybe 1 1/2 people. The broccolini was so tough we couldn’t cut it with our steak knives. For the first time in ages, I had room for dessert after our $130 dinner! Ambience was great. Dessert was lovely. If you are looking for value for your money perhaps another steakhouse would be recommended.

Food was barely warm. The steak was so cool the butter they served with the steak could not melt. For a place so expensive, it was quite unacceptable. We won't be going back.

We started at the Bar. Beautiful hand carved bar and murals. Our bartender Kevin was very attentive and a master mixologists delicuos drinks. Then we’re seated for dinner. Our server Alice. Was attentive and friendly. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and a must try are the Parmesan potatoes. And to cap off a perfect meal the bread pudding was stellar. This is a must go to place of your in Scottsdale

Is the first time we visited this restaurant and we were extremely satisfied with both the service and the quality of food. We shared a 12 ounce fillet along with starting off with the wedge salad which was excellent. We look forward to dining here again in the future.
