    My family and I booked for Christmas dinner, at $110 per person. Before we were even sat down, we were asked to pay, something we had never experienced before. The restaurant showcased a completely inability to be able to produce a decent meal, regardless of the price. There was a single server for the entirety of the restaurant, on Christmas dinner, which resulted in our appetizers still being on the table when desert was being served, and we were asked to hold our own plates in the air while she tried to manage. We had never experienced a chicken so overcooked, it had very obviously been put under a heating lamp for a significant amount of time, and resulted in it being a terribly underwhelming meal. The dessert was evidently one of their breakfast items, a yoghurt parfait presented as a dessert, not impressive, especially for the price. Overall, a terrible dinner experience, with lackluster service, bad food, and underwhelming ambience. Disappointing is an understatement.

    The young male waiter was excellent and very professional. He was polite and even provide me a glass of warm water to sooth my sore throat and cough. Highly recommend The Sussex Restaurant

    The service was very attentive, the food was very delicious especially the seafood tower for 2. A friendly waiting staff to answer all questions making our experience memorable. Thank you everyone there.

    Nice and quiet place to have dinner with a couple of friends. Hard to find around Christmas time! Very lovely service too. Didn’t love the TVs in the space but I guess that’s to be expected in a hotel restaurant and the sound was down.

    Way to over priced for what you get. Beef burger tasted like it was from mc Donald's very small hand full of chips . Service pushy
