Celebrating its 15th year, The Swedes Bar and Bistro opened its doors in 2009. Since then, it's become a go-to spot for people from all over the world. We are a 2024 TripAdvisor Travelers choice award winner, given to the top 10% of restaurants based on guest experience. Great food, friendly service, and a fun vibe at the corner of Olas Altas and Calle Pulpito just one block from the famous Los Muertos beach make The Swedes a must-visit on any trip to Puerto Vallarta. Six of us had a great Valentine’s dinner — the food was scrumptious; the waiter, Carlos, was friendly, professional, smart and attentive.

Food and service where off the charts! Luis did an excellent job taking care of us! Gracias! Make sure to put this on your “must do” while visiting PVR!

We were a gang of 4 people sitting upstairs that absolutely enjoyed our cosmos, loved our delicious dinner, our excellent server and the wonderful ambiance. Going back next Thursday. Total fun experience

Haven't been to Swedes for a couple of years so was looking forward to returning - and we were not disappointed. Service was very attentive and the food was delicious. It was great to sit downstairs by the side windows - very good experience and would definitely return

Wine selections are not the best. Martinis are very good. Meal was good, not what I remember from prior visits.
