   What a challenging menu! Everything looks so good. What we had (SOTD Tomato Bisque, Fish OTD w/ butternut gnocchi and broccolini, and Wild Game Burger) was outstanding!

   This was our first time visiting the Sweet Spot and we were very pleased. Didn't know what to expect but we had seen several good reviews. It was pleasantly quiet, and you can hold a conversation. The service was excellent and friendly. Ou appetizers were the crabcakes and calamari. Both were delicious and well prepared. My wife had the cheddar broccoli soup, and she raved about it. For our entrees I had the ribeye steak. It was probably the best I have had in the Wichita area. Nice flavor and sear and cooked beautifully. My wife had the scallops, and they were also cooked perfectly. All in all it was a very enjoyable dinner. We were not rushed and had a great dining experience. We did find out that they are moving to the east side .... somewhere around Towne East shopping center. I hate to see the west side lose another good restaurant but I'm sure their business will do well.

   Seemed to be out of a lot of stuff. Duck wings which the waitress talked up before ordering

   I’m going to save all of my complaints because maybe they just had an off night - but I have never been given a corkscrew at a restaurant and told to open my own bottles of wine.

   My wife and I celebrated our anniversary this past Monday. The staff took extra steps to make our night special. They were attentive to us all night. I ordered oysters, they were very fresh and well plated. I was hoping they would have been a bit cheaper for “happy hour” but none the less they were excellent. Our food was well prepared, steak was correct doneness. The chicken piccata could have had a bit more crispy breading. We followed it up with Maker’s cherry crème brûlée. I don’t know if it was just a Monday and they aren’t typically that busy. But we were the only ones dining. I would definitely like to return in the future.

    Sweet Spot is a lovely west side, fine dining establishment. The menu is varied and the wine and liquor selection is good. The staff works together and a manager is on site checking in with diners.
