   Great meal at the Tally Ho, food was lovely, staff were helpful and the pub had a great atmosphere. Would define recommend and visit again.

   Arrived was taken to table the noise was so loud kids running around screaming and jumping on the chairs was more like a creche, staff were interacting with a table that looked to have been friends with them, people at table were sat vaping nothing was said gent at the table was shouting over the place at the kids food wasn't great soup was inedible was more like lumpy baby puree my sons food arrived 15 minutes after the rest of the table as order wasn't sent to kitchen with the rest of the order when the chicken burger arrived it was more or less charcoal looking so wasn't eaten as was inedible...I will not return anytime soon that's for sure!!!

   Food was excellent Staff were v polite but although quiet weren’t that attentive. It was v quiet which was a shame Overall I thought was quite expensive to be honest

   It was a very busy pub, best suited for parties and celebrations. Mixed reviews on food, slight mix up on orders - pie was nicely cooked but some dishes were dried out.

   Made a booking online for Monday 4th November went along to be told chef of sick kitchen closed I had booked that very day lady told me you couldn’t have booked today as we knew in morning chef was sick showed her my e mail confirmation she said oh you booked online that explains it (what ever that meant) I said so I’m not getting to eat she just went no and shrugged her shoulders. Terrible attitude pub was empty that not a gd sign either definitely won’t be back. Was very hungry as had just driven from Aberdeen so it was a pizza in our car

   Really friendly local pub. The food was incredible- we were really impressed. It has massively improved recently- the menu was decent and service really good. Very accommodating with three noisy kids too, including kids menu, plastic cups and plastic cutlery for them

   Before travelling to the Tally ho. we looked on line at their menu, when we arrived we were handed an A4 sheet with the " actual menu " - very limited choice compared to what was actually being sold. Booked for 17:00. order taken at 17:20, food served at 17:50. Food was warm and very basic. Throughout our visit the external door was constantly open and either left open or banged shut by a family in the covered outside area. No toilet roll in the gents, faces on the seat. overall all truly disappointed.

   We were called an hour before our booking to say there was no food left and they had to cancel our booking.
