   Wonderful as always - enhanced by lovely server and brilliant advise re wines to match our food choices, the Chardonnay with the smoked pork and the Greek white with the crab cocktail were brilliant match’s . Portions always generous meaning no room for the dessert shame thank u all kitchen and front of house for a wonderful evening

   I anticipated being asked for a review and my summarising thought was ‘it’s alright’. Bit disappointed that it was only ‘alright, given the provenance. Small signage, difficult to see in the dark, made it hard to find. But then lovely, twinkly, welcoming lights. I arrived early and had a delicious glass of wine in a deserted bar next to a fake, heatless woodburner. Pleasant waiting staff. Got too full up on snacks and ordered two small plates but couldn’t eat it all. I hate wasting food but the mussels were mushy and didn’t want to come out of their shells whole, so I didn’t push it. I wondered, on the way home, if I might have Covid because the food hadn’t tasted of much. But then I remembered that the wine had tasted delicious, which can only lead me to conclude that the food was bland. Sorry guys.

   We came for dinner for my husbands birthday lovely venue, the service was excellent, very friendly, knowledgable and efficient. Food was outstanding, especially the chews doughnuts, the short rib and the trifle. Extensive wine list with some great wines from the Lebanon and Greece. I expected the final bill to be more than it was. Vibe is relaxed and I would definitely recommend, we intend to return for Sunday lunch and in the summer.

   Lovely welcome from the staff and they were delighted to see our dog, which was great. Starters were good and food was beautifully presented. Mains also good. I would say, slightly pricey but aside from that, really worth a trip.

   Outstanding food and service. Possibly the best rib eye steak I have ever eaten; interesting and varied menu. Cannot wait to go back.

   An absolutely fabulous dinner with my family. Staff very friendly and efficient. Food excellent especially the cheese donuts and smoked short rib. Price actually not to bad compared to some places. Will definitely be back.

   We booked to have a meal after getting married at the registry office before our big wedding day in August and we were greeted with congratulations and card and warm and friendly staff. The food was exceptional we are big fans of GBM so to eat food from 2 chefs we very much enjoyed watching on the show was delight. We will be back again for sure.
