Be warned, The Tavern’s menu is pretty extensive – choosing could be your biggest challenge. Rest assured you won’t go too far wrong though. The Wild Atlantic Way is well represented here, with the freshest of Atlantic fish and plenty of produce from the ever growing number of local producers. Chef/ Owner Myles O’Brien and his team are partial to a bit of foraging too, so you never know what will pop up on our Specials Menu. Take your time, welcoming fires are dotted around the interior with lots of nooks and cosy corners.

                                                                                                              The meal was lovely, the stsff were excellent and the table they gave us was top class. It was not the restaurants fault but our meal and evening were destroyed by a drunken idiot who roared at and threatenef staff through the entire meal. The staff did do an excellent job in managing the sotuation. We will be back to enjoy our next meal there

Traditional irish dishes were nice but I recommend removing pasta from menu or getting some easy pasta dishes to include as any of the 3 pasta dishes we have tried have been a disaster. The waitresses didn't seem happy to be there. Not an enjoyable experience really which was disappointing for the Tavern.
