Pricey for what you get. I had a salad for starter - lacking in flavour. I had sea bass - there was one fillet (sea bass is on the small side anyway) which was overcooked, a teaspoon of leeks (which would not add up to even one of my five a day!) and a finger of potato. Needless to say I was still hungry so ordered desert which I rarely do - the brownie was delicious and filling. My dining partner had bruschetta, which although tasty, was not worth €18. The slow cooked lamb was delicious and was served with rice and a teaspoon of vegetable. What is it with chefs and vegetables? The decor was nice and thankfully for us the dining room was not busy as the tables are on top of each other. The service was good although staff were a bit eager to take away plates and came over twice to do so before we were both finished. Two starters, two mains, one desert and two glasses of wine came to around €120. Although the Terrace is very convenient when there’s a concert on, we’ll find somewhere else to dine the next time.

Very nice good but starters are overpriced. €18 for bruschetta is too much

The location is excellent. The service, as identified by others, was a bit off. We ordered a second drink and needed to inform the server a long time after the drink for one of us arrived. Not sure if the servers have identified zones to work so that may be the issue. At least three different servers appeared at different times. The food was good.

Pleasant experience, and took the pressure off getting to a concert after dining- we were there already! The food was tasty; I had beautiful lamb. The portion size was a little small, I had mains and dessert only, I should have gone for a starter too. But I'll definitely go there again for our next concert.

Service was very slow. The special meal (pasta with seafood) was tasteless, watery, lacking in any vegetables such as onion or garlic and looked awful. In fact I cannot imagine how any chef/cook could send such a dish to a table. It was a disgrace overpriced.

Staff are warm and welcoming, made sure we were comfortable even ensured there was a spot for my mobility aid. Food was absolutely top tier, allergen warning s were clearly laid out and the food was absolutely delicious. Utterly wonderful experience and I will definitely dine there again.

I had Caesar salad, fish and undercooked chips, a mineral, tiramisu and tea. At €118 for two of us it was grossly overpriced but a pleasant evening nonetheless, and the venue is very convenient for the Concert Hall. Service was efficient and pleasant. Menu was very basic and the fish and chips were no better than any decent chipper but considerably more expensive.

Mediocre over-priced food and very restricted menu. starters in particular ie €17 / 18 for Bruscheta which was cold and the 5 small pieces of battered calamari were rubbery . Mains of fish and chips and Lamb were OK, but not restauraunt quality , in fact not even pub quality. Service was fine . We go to the NCH regularly but won't be eating there again .
