Come and experience our brand new Terrace brasserie which is situated in an elevated position boasting panoramic views of the Small Isles and the Sound of Sleat. Our chef prides himself on producing the highest quality of freshly prepared and locally sourced produce to create a memorable dining experience with friendly and professional service in a relaxed surrounding. Special diets or allergies can always be catered for on request. We offer freshly ground coffee and pastries in the morning, lunches and afternoon teas with prosecco, as well as a desirable a la carte evening menu. Finish off your evening by toasting your toes in front of the log fire with one of our 200 malts watching the spectacular West Coast sunsets. We also have an extensive selection of wines, gins, and local ale from the Isle of Skye and Orkney brewery.

Fabulous panoramic views across to the islands with a sunset thrown in for good messure! Good service from friendly staff and excellent food. I would highly recommend a visit

The food wasn’t good (smocked salmon was fat and not tasty ) at all and prices are high. I don t recommend this restaurant.

Food and wine very good, views from terrace outstanding. Very expensive for portion size.

The food and the outlook were fantastic. The avocado sorbet was delicious. We had a late lunch come early dinner as we came into Mallaig on the afternoon train, so we were the only ones in the restaurant.

When we arrived in Mallaig the kitchen of The Terrace was just closed (20.30). We had the possibility to choose only between 2 or 3 plates. Very expensive place.

Average overpriced food, really poor service. The only great thing are the views but there are so many better options in Mallaig.

Great location with good views out to sea and the isles of Skye and Rum. Menu choice limited to seafood dishes. Waiter got order wrong, then no bread with second soup and felt we were overcharged for soups as a starter whereas one was with a sandwich and should have been cheaper.

Restaurant with good view to the Isle of Skye, Eigg und Rum. The menu is small, but every taste will find something. The service is young and inexperienced. Therefore sometimes not professional. The food has good standard, some meals are a surprise by taste.

We stayed at the West Highlands Hotel and book dinner for convenience. What a great treat. We had the seafood platter for 2 and it was fantastic! The seafood was of course fresh but it could not have been prepared better. Highly recommend!

The food was beautiful - excellent presentation and wonderful flavouring. The restaurant itself was just lovely in a great location with stunning views. Staff were very friendly and efficient - I’d recommend any one visiting Mallaig and looking for the perfect spot with delicious food to stop off here .
