Welcome to The Thornhill Arms located within the picturesque village of Rushton, Northamptonshire.

Conveniently located between Corby & Kettering and a stones throw from Market Harborough.

Independent family owned pub & restaurant, we strive to make you feel relaxed and unwind while within our bar, dining rooms or beautiful garden..
All our food is home cooked using fresh ingredients weather it be a monumental homemade burger or traditional Cod & Chips to a Club Sandwich we have something for everyone’s tastes.

Lovely hot and tasty food. Service good, but could have been faster to clear tables. Looking forward to our next visit

lovely food, good value, lots of choice. plenty of space and not rushed- enjoyable experience would definitely go back

It was a very cold day, and even though there was a fire the room felt cold. Several diners kept their coats on as they ate. The restaurant was busy, and it took 40 minutes to be served the first course, which turned out to be lukewarm. There was another half hour wait between the empty plates from the starters being collected, and being called to the Carvery. After that delay it was surprising to find that some of the dishes of veg were nearly empty, and we had to wait for a few minutes until more was brought out. In the meantime the plates with the cut meat and yorkshires on were put on top of the counter. Although there were heat lamps, the food on the plates had got quite cool by the time the veg and potatoes were available to be added. The food was good quality, but having nearly cold meat and yorkshires with hot veg wasn’t the best experience. We’ve been before and had a lovely meal, but this was disappointing.

Been here so many times now and never have we received bad service or bad quality. It’s such a reasonable priced pub and the carvery is a must ! Plus if you are hungry after that get the home made sticky toffee pudding it’s just beautiful!

I reserved a table for my daughter and her mother for the Sunday carvery but unfortunately they experienced very dry chewy meat and hard undercooked roast potatoes, great spot for the usual menus but would recommend to pass on the carvery .

We met up with some friends for lunch following a late night seeing the new year in. We wanted pub grub, and that’s what we had! Lovely food, relaxed setting, friendly staff and good value for money! The Thornhill Arms never disappoints
