   Amazing food from start to finish. The Guinness bread was fantastic with the smoked garlic and butter. The hot chocolate was made with real chocolate and was utterly decadent I loved it. My only criticism was we were sitting under the speaker so the music was a bit too loud but that’s just a small negative really. We are booked again later this month for my husbands birthday and we can’t wait to revisit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

   After mixed local reviews we haven’t visited for a while, but we were pleasantly surprised. The change in menu and revision of pricing really has made a difference. The food was very good and the service from the single staff member was excellent. We will definately return and recommend. The cocktail menu is also very good and value for money, particularly enjoyed the Lemon Spritz.

   Another excellent meal at the Toll Bridge. The pate and crackers were superb and the sea bream simply divine.

   What a lovely Sunday lunch. Food was superb & service was great. We felt very special highly recommend. Beautiful little gem in Sandwich

   I don’t remember ever having a better Sunday Lunch out. Plenty of food beautifully cooked. We will definitely be back

   This has got to be one of the best Sunday roast I’ve had in years . The quality of the food was just outstanding. Can’t recommend enough.

    Very cold in the restaurant. No set menu for lunch although advertised. No grill menu. Prices were high despite the atmosphere being poor and uncomfortable. So many places to eat that are better. The chicken was advertised with a choice of side but then an additional price added. All in all poor value and not worth a visit. Might be better in the summer

    Hi Amanda Sorry to read that you felt your visit was below our expected standards The weather has indeed turned rapidly, had you mentioned any discomfort we would happily have increased the heating Our website has been changed, the lunch offer was clearly advertised as a December festive offer, we now have a new offer starting this week. If you were charged for a side incorrectly we would have removed it from the bill without delay (had you mentioned it) We are not a grill restaurant and have never advertised as such.. Sorry for the confusion, I wonder, did you bring any of your concerns to your server or the manager on duty at the time of your visit.. We are typically very proactive to customers issue.. Perhaps you'll visit us again and give us a chance to improve your experience
