Le Trident Restaurant se trouve "sur l'eau" dans la ville historique de Sausalito, Californie La terrasse extérieure chauffée offre une expérience culinaire sensationnelle avec une vue spectaculaire sur la baie de San Francisco. L'art et l'architecture sont complémentés par un intérieur qui ressemble à un vieux yacht. La fresque du plafond est original au Trident et peint par Dave Richards, créateur de la fameuse Porsche Cabriolet 1965 de Janis Joplin. It was our 50th wedding anniversary and they provided us with a beautiful table by the windows to look out onto the bay. The food was very good and I highly recommend the clam chowder. It is the best. Our waiter was very friendly and funny and I would love to go back again to enjoy another evening. Thank you Trident for making this night for us so special.

Had been many years since we were young regulars at the Trident and today’s visit was not disappointing! Carlos was a most entertaining server (gotta be a better job description!!) and made what was already a great lunch even better. If you can avoid the busy tourist rush Trident cannot be beat for food, ambiance and spectacular views of S.F. and the Bay!

We had brunch at The Trident and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We started with the Frito Misto then had a couple of benedicts and the chowder/salad combo. The Frito Misto was a nice step up from a lot of places with calamari, fish and shrimp. The benedicts were well prepared and they also accomodated a requested change for one of the orders. We shared the cake created for Frank Sinatra which included cheesecake, chocolate mousse and chocolate cake with strawberry - it was fantastic! The service was very attentive and they indulged us having a leisurely brunch. The location right on the water doesn't get much better even from indoors on a chilly day. With easy valet parking right in front the whole experience was wonderful!

We have eaten at The Trident many times. It is our "go-to" restaurant when we have out-of-town visitors. There were 6 of us on a lovely, sunny day on the Bay. We were torn between eating inside or outside, and Carlos patiently walked us around showing the tables available so we could choose what we liked. We ended up at a round table outside in the glass walled area, that offered some protection from the breeze, as well as a beautiful view of the San Francisco skyline. Everyone enjoyed their food (chowder, dip sandwich, Po'Boy sandwich, salads) and drinks, and we enjoyed Carlos' fine service and good humor. No doubt we'll be back, even if we don't have visitors. I am a vegan. There was nothing in the menu that I wanted to eat. I went there for the mushroom risotto that was on the menu the last time I ate there. It is a fabulous dish that should still be on the menu. I am tired of “making do” at these restaurants and trying to have the chefs alter a meat dish so that I can have something that fits my chosen lifestyle.

Service and food great! A little loud but with it being Winter the doors were closed and kept the sound in.

It took the waiter 10 minutes to even come to our table. It took another 15 minutes to get our drinks. My boyfriend ordered a martini and it was water. Sent it back to get a real martini and it took another 10 minutes. Our food took 30 minutes and it was not good at all. Waiter never came to check on us. The valet was super rude and it took 20 minutes to get our car all while people were arriving and he was taking care of them and not even giving us our keys. Our car was in front and all we needed were our keys to leave. Overall horrible and we will never go back there!

We had to leave before eating dinner because the waiter only came to take our drinks order served them and then never came back to take our food order. We called them a couple of times and they just ignored us and we felt disrespected. Also the heaters outside were not all working and when we asked if they could switch it they just said no. Very disappointing.

Absolutely terrible service and food. We had to remind our server 3 times about our food.
