We were so disappointed that the retro menu that first brought us here was dwindled down to only 3 items. The menu is what made this place so special. We also loved when there was jazzy live music while we dined, but this time it was karaoke--and it was brutal. So loud, and mostly very untalented. It was hard to hear myself think, let alone enjoy my meal and my company. We were so disappointed, as we come here often and it was one of our special favorite places! :(

LA has gotten expensive, phew. I was at Velvet Martini Lounge last night for open mic/karaoke. Everything was a la carte. I had the spaghetti and meatballs. That was 25 dollars. Garlic bread was 8 dollars, didn't come with. I had a margarita that was 18 dollars and a chardonnay that was 16. Total bill was 77. I think above my budget, but service was great.

The experience was nice - we were seated first at the broken table, which hostess was aware of so she moved us. I think the table should be fixed before you seat your guests there - not appropriate. Very long wait for food - when it arrived was cold pizza and pasta, probably was out for a while. The birthday desert was on the house which is very nice

If you like great ambience of Sinatra style music this place is for you. The only hiccup was the live music was supposed to start at 7 but didn’t start until 8:15. They said it was very unusual for the late start. Food and service are great. We will definitely be back.

The Martini Lounge is a hidden gem of a semi-private lounge above the Vitello’s Italian restaurant. Whomever designed the decor of this place should win an award. Beautiful, cozy ambiance that just makes the drinks and food taste even better. The food is fantastic, and is presented beautifully. This was my second visit and it did not fail to impress once again.

This place is perfect for a date night its warm, cozy & very intimate a perfect little speakeasy in the valley. They did a beautiful job re-designing the space and the entertainment was great! I recommend the Margarita pizza for two as an appetizer its very thin and light and so flavorful, the cocktails were great too! For dinner we just had a couple salads which were also very good and the portions are good size, the menu has so many great options to choose from everything sounds delicious . I highly recommend this spot we are looking forward to sharing with friends can't wait to go back!!

The atmosphere is cozy and darkly lit in a good way. The service was great, and the live music was entertaining. It was a lovely night.

Perfect place to have delicious food and cocktails, while drinking in the cozy ambiance of golden era Hollywood. The booths are removed enough from the speakers that you can have a quiet conversation.
