Planning an event? The Library is our own self-contained function room with its own loos, bar, entrance and music system. The room will hold up to 70 seated guests but adjourns the main bar (70) and conservatory (30) should you require more space for the event.We host birthdays, weddings and private events throughout the year with tailored buffet, dining and party packages to suit all budgets and requirements.The kitchen team is headed by Steven Tuke, Executive Chef, who has vast experience under Michelin Starred celebrity chef Simon Radley, at both the Chester Grosvenor and Oddfellows Hotel.

We met up for a pre Christmas lunch as the Vicarage is roughly half way between Stafford and Manchester. The bar area was very busy with a wedding party but we were still served and shown to our table. My wife and myself are gluten free so were pleased to see plenty of options for our meals. The food was served in good time and was well presented and cooked, we ordered extra drinks and all very much enjoyed the occasion.

Wonderful meal and excellent service. Have been a few times and is definitely at the top of my restaurant list

Dinner for 4 people as one of my daughters's many celebrations for her 21st. Food excellent and staff very friendly although service a little slow as it was Friday night and restaurant very busy Would definitely visit again as lovely atmosphere and plenty to chose on the menu Will book afternoon tea for January

We have dined here many times, however, it was new to our 6 guests who were very impressed and I am sure will also return

A lovely meal with friends in a good setting. Staffing was short but everyone was pleasant and friendly. The food was of good quality and attractively. presented. The place was packed on Saturday night which gave a nice atmosphere.

Took the family for Sunday lunch. Good food and service in a welcoming place. What more do you need? This was our second visit. Will definitely be back.

Disappointingly average food and a confused main menu choices on a Sunday of roast dinners ( one last pink beef at 5pm that wasn't pink it was well done) and sandwiches and hot roast sandwiches with chips, special was lobster - and was quite expensive for the quality. Also a bit eclectic in the interior design - back to the 80's in the conservatory and a different style in the main room with a hotch potch of accessories in the mix. Overall just OK, better pubs nearby for a Sunday with friends.
