Vine Room is Closed as we have some BIG changes coming to DoubleTree by Hilton Cairns 😍 Over the next few months our Pool and The Vine Room will be getting a stylish new makeover ✨ Keep an eye on our socials as we take you through our redevelopment journey.
What can you expect:
🏊 Extended Pool Size: 38 metres long.
☀️ 50 stylish poolside seats and 120+ seating at the restaurant.
🥂 Full service outdoor bar which caters for restaurant and poolside.
🍽 The Vine Room will be redeveloped into a Mediterranean style restaurant.
🌊 Tiered restaurant seating down to street level with no obstruction to sea views.
🌴 Newly designed landscaping at the poolside with no obstruction to sea views.
Re-development to commence from November 12, 2024 - July 31, 2025. During this entire period, The Vine Room will be closed for public use therefore dinner service will commence daily in the Atrium and guests will be able to use the pool facilities at Hilton Cairns.

The reason for the poor ratings is that I made this reservation online and when we got to The Vine Room it was closed on Mondays. They really need to put something in the system to let people know they are not taking reservations on Mondays.

The food came out at different time to the table which meant the two of us ate separately. The steak was at least 40% fat and was uneatable. The wait staff were understaffed and did not assist with the poor meal or service. As a local I will not be back and will strongly recommend people not to eat at the restaurant.

Basic. Walked in and no one greeted us as we stood on their space while the bartender was doing everything for the entire restaurant. They had no idea we had a booking. Had to order at a register and then go sit down. Get our own water. This was basically a fast food restaurant. Food felt reheated from frozen at the grocery. For a Hilton property we do not recommend.
