Joey was our server and he phenomenal! He knew the menu well and helped us decide our dishes for the evening. He also was all over our drinks, which is hard to find anymore. The pretzel sticks were yummy and my grilled bacon and cheese sandwich was out of the park good.

Joey took good care of us! It was refreshing to get excellent service!! Food was delicious!

Busy as to be expected, wife’s flat bread was pretty bland. My shrimp Po’boy was excellent. They fit us in an hour before our reservations do to change of plans. Waitress was the biggest issue. Slow and unattentive once our meal came out. Had to get a bartender to pay.

We enjoyed our dinner at The Walrus. It has a tavern/pub-style feel. The clientele ranged from families with small children, to singles milling about the bar. Our server, Joey, was friendly and helpful. He helped us with our beverage & dinner selections. The kitchen staff executed and delivered our food without a hitch. Our verdict: walrus fries (their take on steak fries) were good accompaniments to the shrimp po’ boy as well as the maple burger. Those who enjoyed mixed drinks were also pleased. Good food, drinks and service means we’d all come back again.

Made a reservation because we knew it was going to be a busy night and we were offered the two worst tables in the restaurant. Ended up finding seats at the bar. Love the food and service, but super-disappointed with them holding crappy tables for people who make reservations.
