A traditional pub and restaurant in the beautiful, historic spa town of Bridge of Allan. Established in 1842, the Westerton Arms has been, and still is an integral part of the Bridge of Allan community.

Open daily from 9am until 10pm, we serve exceptional quality, locally sourced food.

In our bar we have a wide range of spirits, malt whisky and an extensive range of gins. We also serve a range of locally brewed beers and ales, as well as mainstream brands, namely, Guinness, Belhaven Best and Birra Moretti
to name but a few.

We have wood burning stoves for chilly days and beer gardens front and rear of the building for those sunny days. There is also customer car parking to the rear.

Four legged friends are welcome in the bar area

    Everything was spot on. The portions are a good size, especially the shark and chips 😜

    Our meal started off well, the staff were attentive and were quick when delivering our food and drinks. That is where the positives then ground to a halt. Once we finished our starters and our mains were brought out, we were ignored. When we had finished our meals, we were sat waiting for half an hour or more before a member of staff came to acknowledge us and ask if we had finished our meal. We were going to have dessert but considering how long it took for them to clear after our mains, we decided against it. We took food home to reheat as we hadn’t finished our meal and when it was reheated, the amount of oil/fat found in the meal made the leftovers inedible. A very disappointing trip considering our past visits had been very positive which is why we decided to return.

    Booked for my mother in laws birthday. The food was good and there was a good choice on the menu. However, the restaurant area was very cold to sit in. The server had a "too casual" attitude and it was obvious he was having a bad day, despite hardly having any interaction with him. We were not offered a second drink and no one checked we were enjoying our meal. The standard of the food was good, shame the interpersonal skills of the staff member let it down.

    The BofA shark was a good plateful. The goats cheese salad had too much onion and not much leafy green for a salad. Plenty of walnuts though. Chunky chips were delicious. Had asked for a cosy table in my booking and were seated right next to the fire so that was fab. Service was nice not too pushy and didn’t get thrown out as some places are doing more often these days. Will be back!

    Had a couple of drinks in the welcoming bar when we arrived and moved to the restaurant at our booking time. The menu is varied, there’s also great service which is very attentive and good and the food was superb. Will definitely go again.

    Fantastic food and service in the restaurant and a great atmosphere. Really enjoyed our meal and will definitely go back.

    Fantastic food, fantastic service., staff were so helpfully friendly and professional. Brought dog with us, was made very welcome, nothing was too much. Will definitely be back.
