The Whistling Grizzly features a regional bistro inspired menu utilizing local products such as Lockhart Ranch beef, Idaho trout and Vertical Harvest greens. Food & Beverage Director Jason Azarpour brings a 5 star hospitality experience as well as classic French culinary training to the Whistling Grizzly. This is our 5th time in Jackson, and by far the best meal we’ve had the pleasure to enjoy. This is a cutting edge big city restaurant in a small community. Lots of seasonal choices and farm/range/river to table items. The elk tartare was exquisite and a perfect example, as was the local trout. And the blood orange crème brûlée was an amazing way to end the meal. Our server, Jean-Paul, is a real pro.

This is not your typical hotel restaurant!! We absolutely enjoyed all dishes ordered as well as the intimate ambiance. The presentation of the Bison Tartare was phenomenal and the dish was extremely tasty. So was the trout dip as well as our entrees. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Every year I visit Jackson for great skiing, I eat here because of the excellent menu and perfectly prepared dishes. Always satisfying and exceptionally delicious! The ambiance and service is perfect too!

Probably the best restaurant in Jackson Hole. Excellent food. The elk is amazing. Tip wines. Carrot cake a delight

We ate at the Whistling Grizzly and the food was great, however the service was just okay and our particular server was very rude. He seemed annoyed with us the entire time (family of 5). He also failed to inform us that the special we ordered was $225 (I guess our job to ask and not his to disclose). We were very surprised when we received the bill! Our experience was not positive and pretty frustrating. We don’t plan to go back but wanted to share for others in the future. Plenty of other amazing places in Jackson that have great food, great ambiance and great customer service (and not break the bank).

We have eaten at The Wistling Grizzly several times before and enjoyed the meals served. Valentines Day however, was terrible. not just a very poor meal, but the Chef should have been embarrassed to serve such a poor meal. The steak was inedible. Very tough, flavorless with sinew throughout. The salad was way too acidic. The mashed potatoes were the only nice thing served and $110.00 is a little much for mashed potatoes!!!! We were looking forward to a great meal that didn't come even close. The service was great, as it usually is. The same server we have had in the past. I think "the cook" owes him an apology too. John

The best restaurant in the valley, bar none! The food, the service, the ambience, and the bar are all excellent. It’s one of the few places one can go in Jackson and have a nice evening talking with friends without having to shout!!!
