   Beautiful setting. Stylish cosy busy pub. The food and staff were amazing. Helpful and polite. Definitely be going back again

   Had an excellent group Sunday lunch at The White Lion. There is a great variety on the menu and everything we selected was very high quality. Good drinks selection also. The best part was the service, all of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, it made the experience even better. Will definitely return if we are in the area again.

   Had a lovely Sunday roast, very attentive service, nothing to much trouble, food excellent, have been for lunch in the week, just as good, would definitely recommend

   Food is delicious, a lot of variety too. The only small improvement I would recommend, is that it would had been nice to have a different lactose free pudding, apart from sorbets. However, certainly would not stop us from returning. Parking can be a bit of an issue, but shows it is popular!

   The ploughman’s lunch that my wife ordered was okay, 6/10. The roast beef dinner I ordered was poor, the plate was cold, subsequently my dinner didn’t stay warm for long. The beef was very tough and the roast potatoes were hard and dry, it seemed like they were cooked earlier and warmed up as they were required.

   Really friendly and welcoming staff. Very prompt and attentive service all evening Excellent food and plenty of it All in all a great experience
