Join us between 12 noon and 5pm in our traditional lounge for a classic and indulgent afternoon of dainty sandwiches, homemade scones, delicious cakes and sweet treats. Bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance, and a non-refundable deposit of £5pp will be taken to confirm your booking.

Good food well presented, the ambience is good it's a pleasant place to have a meal. The service was excellent, very polite and attentive staff , nothing was too much trouble. The only criticism was that it was a very cold day and the heating in the restaurant area was minimal, I spoke with other diners and they mentioned how cold they were and they had put their coats over their legs to keep warm. That spoilt the overall feel of the place but it's a small gripe that can be easily fixed with more heating.

Tasty 3 course meal as part of Norfolk Restaurant week. Would definitely return.

The white lodge was lovely, the waitresses were plesant, the service was quite slow, we waited ages for the menus. The starters were lovely, the dinner was overcooked on 2 of our meals, but we couldnt be bothered to complain because we were hungry, and didnt want the other 2 getting cold. They were edible although very crisp. The desserts were amazing. A bit pricey but still worth a visit.

We had a wonderful experience with the afternoon tea experience! It was all made very fresh , super tasty! We were checked in on twice to make sure everything was okay which was lovely . Everyone was super friendly and bubbly too! The cakes and scones were wonderful too and such a great variety of delicious food, the clotted cream and mouthwatering too! Highly recommend - Thank you!

The food was really lovely, good portions and good value but there were only 2 staff serving a very busy restaurant so we waited over 30 mins for mains and then left for 20 mins before they cleared our plates after we'd finished and then we had to flaf the waitress down to get fresh drinks and dessert. All in all we were ther 1.45 mins to have 2 courses and we are only a table of 3. Not blaming the staff, there just wasn't enough of them.

We had a lovely family meal, the staff were all so nice and very polite. Great tasting food We will be back again.

We had a warm welcome and were shown straight to our table. The waitress grabbed a high chair for our toddler. She through the specials and any dishes they couldn't make. We ordered our food and drinks. The drinks came quickly and the food came out well presented. The pork belly meal lovely and the fish was delicious. We ordered a children's meal (fish goujons) for our toddler, and they were clearly homemade. It was a good-sized portion, and it would have been enough for much older children. They had a half-term deal on, for children eating for £1 too - incredible value! We will definitely go back to this restaurant.
