   Very nice brunch. The hollandaise sauce is as a bit salty and had a strange taste. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked and delicious. The tea service is superb.

   Bruce our server today for my grandmother's birthday posted at brunch the Wilcox was amazing! He made all the difference. Our food was also very good and the drinks were very fast. We have celebrated at the Wilcox for birthdays repeatedly over the years and this was one of the best experiences. Thank you.

   We spent +$200 on dinner (not including the bar bill) for my wife and I. We arrived at 4:30 for a 5:00 dinner reservation so we could grab a drink and check the place out. At the entrance, the valet was standing near the front door eating food from an aluminum foil carry out container. No greeting. The entry area had a nice atmosphere (dark wood and fireplaces). I stood at the bar and waited my turn to order our drinks while my wife sat on a sofa. Pretty crowded place but a lot of empty tables with reservation cards on them. $31 for a martini and a double vodka out of the well. They showed us to our table a few minutes early. For appetizers we got calamari and a crab cake. The calamari was rather chewy. Crabcake was OK. My wife ordered the ribeye, very disappointing. It was tough...they tried to hide the poor quality of meat by covering it in sauce. The kind of steak you grab out of the cooler at Food Lion or Kroger. I had some kind of shrimp and pasta that was promoted by the waiter. The sauce was tasty but the shrimp was tough...I'm guessing frozen shrimp but I didn't bother to ask, so I could be wrong. The waiter was very attentive and professional, but as one would expect, the service got slow as the restaurant got busier. We didn't choose the restaurant because we were seeking value, we came looking for a great dining experience. As it turned out, it wasn't. Therefore, the impression left with us was one terrible value for the quality of food being served. We won't return.

   We moved here not too long ago and wanted a nice place to dine and relax. Fortunately, we discovered this jewel and planned a lunch for today. The food was excellent. The staff was impeccable. The ambiance was lovely. Planning on a future staycation at the Inn. We will definitely be back.

   We’ve been to the Wilcox for meals a number of times over the past few years. It is a fine location with good food, but service sets it apart. We again had Bruce tonight help with our meal. He is exceptional and made the the night a truly enjoyable event. We will be sure to ask to be seated in his area on each visit. I commend him to anyone else dining at the Wilcox.

   Food and service were average. Expected better from the Willcox. I had shrimp and grits. Shrimp were flavorless and grits were soupy.

   The Hotel is beautiful and very nice restaurant! Food is very good but the presentation is pretty sad. We were there for brunch and all thought the food was good, nothing but the entree came with the meal. I had a ABLT sandwich and it came on a beautiful plate with noting as a side or any greenery! Same with the eggs benedict, and the bread from the sandwich was something you buy in a grocery store! they need to up their game or get a new chef if they want to act as a high end restaurant! IF I was going to a deli this would be fine but come on! Service was great, drinks were ok!
