Welcome to the William Morris! We are a pub that thrives off families and locals making the premises come alive with vibrant energies and enjoying the scenic view of the river Wandle, as they tuck into one of our signature dishes along with a hand draft beer.

All regulations and extra precautions will be put in place for the safety of yourselves and all members of staff.

Steak was grisly, chips was hard ,no option of garlic butter on the steak ,had to ask if we needed to order at the bar,as we were not informed. Very disappointed Would we come again,don't think so

To be honest we were very disappointed. The staff were unfriendly from the start. When we arrived we asked what time we could order food until and were told 9pm, the on going to order at 8.50pm were told the kitchen had shut. After pointing this out they did reopen but it was very begrudgingly. The food was fine but the atmosphere was lacking and we were made to feel very unwelcome.

Food good. Service very good. An open door meant it was a little chilly at first. I should have brought a jumper or asked for a different table I suppose but overall it was a very good experience.

Upstairs dining room very nice. 7 of us fit around a large table easily. We all had really good Sunday roasts. It was pretty busy so food arrived at different times otherwise it would’ve been 5 stars. Good to see this local finally on the up.

We had a 60th Party we asked if we could move as the people behind us where so lourd we could not here our self speak. We also all ordered startes but the startes came up with our main so we had And some of our startes came after we had a main .None of us had our dinner at the same time it was all over the plce had to call the Manager to sort this out but by that time it was all over . Considering we sent over £300 on food and drink all night the sevice was very poor and the Manager was not that helpfull at all. When order starters you like to eat this with iut the main coming up at the same time thats if it did arrive . very poor would never recommend friend

Really friendly and proactive staff. The kids table is a real hit - will definitely be back.

Food was ok, not amazing but pretty good. I feel it could be better. Venue is lovely. Staff very friendly. Food extremely slow.
