The Woodhouse Bar
Smell the delicious smokiness as you enter 101 Williamson Street, take a sharp left to encounter a new luxe contemporary bar experience in Bendigo.
Showcasing 28 wines by the glass (and 300+ by the bottle) including the best local drops on offer and some seriously interesting wines from further afield, including some intriguing European offerings and French champagne by the glass.
A supporting cast of spirits, beers, and other beverages, including a decent alcohol-free selection. Cocktail drinkers will be impressed with our seasonal cocktail list, or our enthusiastic drink specialist will shake you a martini to rival any in the world.
Snacks and delicious bar fare available directly from The Woodhouse, including meaty goodness direct from the grill.

Whilst the title was 'feed me' menu, it was not actually as good as it sounded. 8 courses but all bite size. Each bite size item was tasty but altogether did not add up to what felt like a quality experience. Given the night cost us in excess of $200 for 2 people, consisting of the $78 pp menu, 2 glasses of red wine, one glass of Vodka/lime/soda and a stout; there was no value for money in the experience. We left thinking we had missed out on both value for money and a 'delicious' experience. We wanted an experience where each dish complimented the other. The mini burgers were tasty but followed by pork belly was just a little too greasy and too salty. We were left hankering for vegetables which could have easily been included as a side anywhere within the menu. Sorry Woodhouse but next time we are given a gift voucher for your restaurant, we are likely to regift it. Even if the last 2 courses were replaced with a small steak & some veg, you'd have won us over with a great night.

Nice ambience in the bar area. Bit more relaxed and intimate. Great area if you want privacy. Steaks cooked to perfection, wine list extensive, excellent wait staff.

Really lovely experience. The food had a tad too much salt for my liking and the wagu spring roll was just not right. Otherwise everything was delicious and lovely

Beautiful looking rustic style restaurant and bar with lots of different interesting spaces and a classic open double fire place that draws you in as you enter on a cold winters afternoon. We were just in the bar not the main restaurant but you can get anything off the menu there too. And the food was incredible, meat was cooked perfectly, the cocktails were strong and there was a wide range of beers and wine. The guys there were awesome and the food came fast. Definitely would go back. 👍

Our reservation was not processed correctly when booking online and were allocated incorrect seating. Zero sympathy from staff and no accommodation made to compensate. No apologies given. Just so dismissive. We and our friends and family will not be back.

Great place for a catchup with friends, the food was great so was the service,atmosphere was vibing I’ll be back soon

We had NYE’s drinks at the bar…ambience is fantastic, service was swift. We were probably the noisy ones! Response to the online booking was quick and clear.

Great drinks, attentive and chatty service. They know the cocktail menu well. The food was incredible - all great value. Can't wait to go back again
