Please use the 'Experience' function on OpenTable or call us here at the distillery to book an afternoon tea on 01461207817. Alternatively, please email Ashley on A.Shannon@annandaledistillery.com. We do not accept orders for Afternoon Tea without prior notice.

Dogs are welcome, so much so we now have a dog menu! (though we regret they cannot accompany their humans on tours).

We serve the best Scottish food, wine, craft beers, ciders and of course our own Single Cask Single Malt Whisky made here on-site. Please as staff for details.

If your group is larger than 12 people please email Zoey on Z.Darnbourgh@annandaledistillery.com or call the distillery directly and we will help make arrangements for you to join us.

Lovely homemade soup definitely worth having a bowl. The salmon sandwich was out of this world not too strong with the whisky. Lovely choice of cakes too.

One hour and 15 minutes is not enough time for 2 people to order food and eat meal without rushing. Presume that includes waiting time for food!). Felt we were a nuisance. First greeting we received was to inform us that table was required at a certain time!

Dear Gill, thank you for your feedback. We're truly sorry you felt rushed during your visit. We understand that 1 hour 15 minutes felt insufficient. This time limit is usually communicated at booking, and we apologise if it caused you stress. The Maltings was exceptionally busy due to school holidays, leading to constant bookings. We did remind guests of table times to manage the flow, not to make you feel unwelcome. We regret you felt like a nuisance. We value your input and will improve communication about booking times, especially during peak periods. We hope you'll consider visiting again.

We had a lovely meal of Annandale burgers. Tasted fantastic and really good value for money. Availed ourselves of the outstanding toilets, immaculate as ever, then bought my usual bottle of Peated Rascally from the shop. Once in the shop had an interesting discussion concerning peated malts and which is my favourite. The only issue is the number of people who came in the coffee shop to be turned away because they hadn’t booked. There were numerous tables empty with reserved on them which were still empty when we left. Perhaps if staff explained the tables were booked but if the person asking could vacate it before the person who reserved it arrived it would avoid a lot of dissatisfied customers leaving. At least 4 couples were turned away in a 30 minute period whilst we were eating who had made a special trip out to the distillery.

We're particularly pleased that you found our service and atmosphere welcoming. We understand your concern about walk-ins being turned away. We always strive to accommodate as many guests as possible, but unfortunately, due to the nature and timing of our bookings on that Saturday, we were unable to offer tables to everyone who walked in.

Third visit, didn't disappoint. Excellent food, very clean and welcoming place. Lovely roaring fire and friendly staff. Will be returning.

The rating given is because we booked on line the day before and turned up at the booked time to find everything locked up. Perhaps this was because of the weather but I feel we should have received an email to tell us what was happening so we didn't waste time making a detour to our journey. On all previous visits the service has been excellent and with good food

Dear Nigel, We are so sorry for the inconvenience caused by the recent power outage due to the storm. Our energy provider was working hard to restore power, but unfortunately, the intermittent outages made it impossible for us to reopen on Sunday as planned. We did our best to communicate with all guests using the Opentable system, but it appears that a couple of messages, including yours, did not get delivered. This was due to the ongoing issues with both power and internet access. We sincerely apologise for this. We also posted updates on our website and social media channels, but we recognise that this is not a substitute for direct communication. We value your understanding and hope you will consider dining with us again in the future.

Amazing venue, after a super knowledgeable tour of the distillery we were further impressed by the quality and professionalism of the staff in the coffee shop. By far the best experience we have had!! It was our friends 70th birthday treat and he had the best time thanks to all the amazing staff who were on duty of the 19th January at 1-4pm, thank you so much and we will definitely return and pass on our recommendations to others. There is a positive ethos from the staff and the ambience was perfect!! Well done to everyone your product rocks!!!!
