Featuring a wood fired rotisserie and grill, our cuisine is Italian influenced and prepared with locally sourced produce and the freshest meats and seafood. Buffalo chicken waffle fries were nothing special. Chicken and waffle with tempura batter, Calabrian peppers and bourbon butter was less interesting than it sounded. Also, as we were seated, we needed to wipe (too many) crumbs off the table.

Last night: Outside with warm heaters and glorious views of the mountains. Great food and drinks. Every server should have to take lessons from our server Gracie. She spoke up loudly for all to hear. Servers FORGET OR DO NOT KNOW that their customers sometimes struggle to hear. She was outstanding. She knew the menu and gave us a detailed description. She had a delightful demeanor. She didn’t rush us or hurry us along while we were enjoying our drinks. Beautiful evening and typical great food and drink and ambiance.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                A noisy restaurant with decent food that could use improvement, but attentive service. We were greeted and seated promptly. Skaidra was attentive throughout her service, and listened to our comments. We did not have to hunt her down to get water or other needs, so that was good since the restaurant filled up fairly quickly. However, touted by Ric Gordon, their Operating Partner, as a "Cheers" counterpart, "where everyone knows your name," the manager never once came to any table to greet the guests. He certainly never bothered to greet us even though we were seated right next to where he was standing most of the evening. Nobody addressed us by name even though we made a reservation with our name on it. So "Cheers" it is not! The Cobb salad was nicely dressed. Some of the rotisserie chicken pieces were tender; others were surprisingly dry. There was too much chewy bacon. So that was annoying. The agave prawns were nicely grilled with appropriate heat from the peppers. Too much dressing on the tomato relish, though, which made the dish way too sweet. The filet mignon and carrots were perfectly cooked. Loved the garlic mash. We could not eat much of the gnarly broccolini. The rotisserie prime rib was surprisingly tasteless. The porcini rub was under-seasoned. Without the jus, this dish was hopeless. We've had much more tender and flavorful prime rib at Geordie's. We did like the roasted potatoes, but the mushrooms were overcooked and had an unpleasant brown-black coloration. Not worth $39/49. The best dish was the affogato. Wish there was a bit more espresso to complement the generous scoop of dulce de leche. We did also enjoy the Hully. This was a busy restaurant. You don't get any view of the mountains or landscape if you sit inside. So no doubt, a better view outside in the spring or fall. If we return, we would probably not order the same dishes. We assume their kitchen can do better.
