   Party of four enjoyed the Festive menu, superb food and relaxed atmosphere. The staff were excellent and very attentive. We will definitely be returning as we have been here on a couple of occasions now and have always found the food and staff to be first class.

   We were celebrating my husbands 73rd birthday. It was fairly busy with some groups having their Christmas party/meal. We have eaten here a few times now and the food has always been cooked perfectly and been well presented. The staff are friendly and helpful. There was a slight discrepancy between the description on the menu and what the kitchen had so we had to return a burger as there was an additional topping that didn't appear on the menu. The manager was very apologetic and promised to get the menu amended to reflect the full list of ingredients.

   Hadn't been there for many years and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was great, hot and tasty. The waitress was run of her feet but nothing was too much for her. I would certainly recommend. The only grouse would be, a coffee would have been preferable instead of a pint of lemonade

   Love the ambiance in this pub, great decor. Roast dinner was probably the best I’ve ever tasted. The service was good considering how busy it was. The is an amazing pub with delicious food now . The manager is a great asset and has really turned the pub around

   Food was excellent and well priced. We were advised when ordering that there may be a delay as they had a large table booking, but we had no undue wait. Staff very friendly and attentive.

    Sat at our table and ordered quickly. Took over half an hour to get our drinks. Ordered teas and coffees and water. Hot drinks eventually came but no water. That came after further requests. Starters were pleasant. Nothing overly exciting. Main courses were very disappointing. Chicken schnitzel was so greasy and sitting in a pool of oil on the plate. My partner ordered the steak pie with mash and vegetables. Everything was clearly microwaved. The pie had collapsed and was microwaved burned. The mash had started to sweat. The food at Wetherspoons would have been better than what we received and would have been a fraction of the price. The waiting/bar staff were lovely but appeared to be short staffed and run off their feet. The above is my no means a reflection on them. Very disappointed. We have not long moved to the area and were excited to find a local pub we could go to for food. The building itself is beautiful.
