                                                                                            Atmosphere is nice but for the prices I expected the food to taste better. We did 3 filets and a New York strip and they were EXTREMELY salty, my parents couldn’t eat it. Service was ok, I asked for truffle tots but they said I couldn’t order it at our table bc it wasn’t part of the menu that night but if I wanted it I could go to the bar.. (the bar was directly across from our table) sounded ridiculous. The pasta experience and donut display were nice. Overall, expected more when I’m spending $400+ on dinner.

                                                                                            Sorry to say but usually we like Timpano's but the mussels had no salt on them which they usually have which makes it taste so good. The salads were below average and just a bunch of greens in a bowl. The waiter was having only our table outside while all other tables he had to serve were inside. We had to ask and keep asking another waiter for service. Very disappointing. Hopefully next time it will be like most of the times we have come to Timpano's.

                                                                                            We love live music but the modern violinist’s volume was just too loud and high pitched to carry on any meaningful conversation. The server was nice but she was obviously over-sat and couldn’t provide the level of service we would expect at these prices. Overall, we’ll stick to the bar for a cocktail/snack if we ever return.
