This place is a joke - no food, no beer, no wine, and the only cocktails they have a premade and fake ingredients. We paid $15 to get in and didn’t even order a drink. Such a waste of money. And we were the only ones in the whole place

Not sure what the $15 per person fee I paid in advance was for. The place looked festive but nothing special for the extra $30 for two people to get in the door. Bartender was not on site upon arrival. Told we could have water until they arrived which would probably be 1/2 hour. The food menu was limited and did not include pizza. There was one other couple who came in before we left. Other than that the place was empty except for a couple parties who came to the hostess stand but immediately left (probably because of the $15/person charge).

The food was expensive and not many choices but the decorations were so cute!!!

It was a very festive environment. We thought the drinks and snack foods was right with the theme. I surely love the Santa-gria and my boyfriend loved the drink with the Fireball and Cinnamon in and the drinks were served in festive glasses. The karaoke was nice too. Yes, I would recommend to our friends. Also bec back next year for Christmas to celebrate our 1st Anniversary of our relationship...Tinsel Taven was our 1st dating place....Thanks!!!

There was a $15 cover charge! For what?!?? Don’t waste your money and go to another Christmas pop up bar. Service and food was horrible.

Do not recommend! We visited several of the pop up holiday bars around Louisville this day and this was the only one to charge a cover. Such a waste of money. They charge a $15 cover charge to even get in but then weren’t even serving pizza AT THE PIZZA BAR?!?! There was hardly a soul in the place but yet took forever to come ask us for drinks. We just left. They turned away a large party of 10 because they didn’t want to pay a $15 pp cover charge. But again the place was empty…. Make that make sense?!

Wouldn't know didn't get to go. Still good charged 60 bucks. Couldn't cancel or get in contact with anyone. I reserved it for my daughters birthday not knowing you had to be over 21.

It was fun to be in a place where the whole restaurant was decked out in Christmas however we weren’t expecting such a limited menu. For it to be a “tavern” there was no beer available only cocktails and the appetizers/snacks were just so so. We still had a good time but left and went to a restaurant to eat and get some beers.

I expected more for a $15 charge per person. It was just like being at any other restaurant. Although, to their credit, the Christmas decor was stellar. The food was mediocre, with zero healthy options. However, the service was very good.

I read the reviews and still wanted to give them a a chance. The service was 0/10. We waited 20 minutes before anyone even came over and I had to go ask the hostess about service. After our drinks were brought out no one came and checked on us or followed up or anything. I was ready to order a second thing so I had to go to the bar to ask if I could order there. The appetizers were very mediocre. The drinks were pretty but definitely not worth it. The “experience” was just decorations and it was def gorgeous but not worth having to pay to reserve. Wouldn’t go back! (If I could give this place a 0/5 I would.)
