   This is our favorite spot. The food, the service and the team members are simply amazing. Ali always takes care of us and chef Alessandro is magical! We will be back soon

   We missed out on the spaghetti wheel however the pasta we had was really good with 6 different peppers and parm cheese. Got to know that from the server who really would the dish to us. The environment was absolutely amazing as well!

   It was sensational, start to finish! They knew we had theatre tickets and only an hour for our dinner service. We left with 5 minutes to spare 😊 Shared the Cacio e Pepe as a starter and both had steak (one fillet and one ribeye). Toca does some of the best steaks this city has to offer! 5* …10/10. Outstanding!! I highly recommend enjoying a meal here! All service starting with coat check is impeccable! Go!!!! 😊

   I picked it because my favorite spots were fully booked, and I thought I could trust the reviews I had read. Big mistake. Let’s start with the fact that it’s super overpriced. The food isn’t tastes bad, but it’s obvious there isn’t a fine dining chef behind it. There are just so many tacky details, glitter on a cocktail, gold leaves on the meat, and an attempt at a rose-shaped ravioli that ended up being a classic case of “what you ordered vs. what you got.” My boyfriend and I couldn’t help but laugh; our faces were priceless. I just can’t with these places trying so hard to be fancy when everything about them screams “I am not fancy at all.” The service itself wasn’t bad in terms of how we were treated, and I feel bad saying this because I know they’re all trying their best, but it’s clear they don’t have fine dining experience. They don’t know how to properly explain a dish, they don’t clean the table or replace cluttering between courses… you can tell. Honestly, spending CAD 400+ here felt like a complete waste of money. But even worse, it wasted what was supposed to be a special, unforgettable experience—although, to be fair, it will be unforgettable… for the laugh we had when they brought out that “rose-shaped” ravioli 🤣

   The food was good, but had expected it to better. Service was not great, although very friendly, our server had too many tables to cover and did not check in often. Cocktails were slow to arrive. The buratta was okay. The tiramisu was excellent. Portions were large.

    Thanks to everyone at TOCA for a great experience! I admittedly left too little time for dinner before attending a show afterwards. They flagged for me and worked to make sure that everything came out in a good time and still tasted delicious.
